For new users, there may be one factor they are afraid to acquire the new Kindle Canada.

The display is very effortless to read, even in bright daylight. The ereader is easy to operate. Aside from the display, the other issues that new users appear to have concern the weight of the ereader, how long it lasts between charges and whether or not it heats up like a laptop.

The electricity needed to run an ereader is negligible which eliminates two of the issues right away : they perform for ages on a single charge and will not heat up at all.

The weight aspect also is a non-issue. Definitely the two top ereaders in Canada - the Kobo Touch and the Kindle 3G - are lighter in weight than a lot of paperbacks. Additionally, the heavier and bigger the original book, the more advantages from reading it on an ereader.

Simply being less than one centimeter thick (in fact 0.8 cm or one-third of an inch) the Kindle3 is also sleeker than a journal.
